The Relentless Roadmap To Victory

Rejection who can handle
Rejection who has the heart to embrace you then shake you off like dust
But relentlessly shout for joy even at your approach

Your leave painful scars on your victims
You leave them to bleed
You stab right into their hearts
You leave them breathless and disoriented

Your aftermath seems to last for eternity
Rejection why are you so boastful and tormenting?
You torment everything and everyone and yet you’re never satisfied
Like a devourer you take pride in destroying your victim’s self-worth

Your teeth are as sharp as a sword ready to tear down what hope builds up
When you bite, you cut and chew
But you are nothing more than a stepping stone to victory

Success may let you shine just for a minute
But you cannot stand against it
You bow in shame when you are shaken like dust
Victory rubs it in your face as it refuses to bow to the dust

Oh rejection where is your sting?
You are nothing more than a stepping stone to victory
You have nothing against the relentless

Be resilient, be relentless, for your path leads to victory

I am a food lover, and cooking is therapeutic for me; it relaxes me and transports me to a quieter universe away from the noisy, busy modern world. I am a Counseling Mental Health & Wellness graduate student, wife, and stepmother. I love connecting with people from different cultural backgrounds through food, fashion, wisdom, and lifestyle in general. To be continued because I am still in the process of discovering who I am as I continue this journey called life. I promise to keep you all posted in the meantime.

  1. Rejection is never an easy thing to deal with and actually rejection is never supposed to exist because no one in this world deserves it…check out my blog and read about relevant topics to this one.

    • Yes we should not have to deal with rejection but our perspective on it can take the experience from pain to empowerment and also inspiring others through our example. Thank you for reading, I will definitely check out you blog posts.
