Empathy Motivation

Empathy Is About Synchronicity

It’s Very Hard To Be Empathetic And Feel For Another Human Being If You Can’t Read Another Person’s Emotions. You Don’t Learn Emotional Literacy Facing A Screen. You Don’t Learn Emotional Literacy With Emojis.

Michele Borba, author of UnSelfie

A World Without Empathy Is Inconceivable,” Mark Davis.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Romans 12:15

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Being Empathetic means borrowing the lens of others in order to see what their worlds look like.

Also, in order to see what they are seeing. Feel what they are feeling. Understand their reasonings or rationales behind every action or event.

Dare to welcome their uniqueness, emotions and perspectives because empathy is an invitation to sync with others.

Necessary in every relationship.

I am a food lover, and cooking is therapeutic for me; it relaxes me and transports me to a quieter universe away from the noisy, busy modern world. I am a Counseling Mental Health & Wellness graduate student, wife, and stepmother. I love connecting with people from different cultural backgrounds through food, fashion, wisdom, and lifestyle in general. To be continued because I am still in the process of discovering who I am as I continue this journey called life. I promise to keep you all posted in the meantime.

  1. Yes! 🙂 More about empathy needs to be discussed (often) in schools; math and grammar won’t do the world any good if we are merely isolated, robotic, and ruthlessly competitive.
