Spaghetti Meat Ball- Every Day Style

Meatball for everyday life, simple, easy, quick and delicious.

Meat Ball Ingredients

  • Ground Beef = 1 Pound
  • Breadcrumbs = ½ cup
  • Italian Seasoning = 1 Tsp
  • Beef Bouillon = 1 Tbsp. (Optional  you can use salt instead)
  • Parley = ½ to 1 Cup (fine copped)
  • Garlic = 2 to 3 (love me some garlic) – powder or chopped
  • Oregano = 2 Tbsp
  • Egg = 1
  • Olive Oil = 1 to 2 Tbsp or 1 Cup (depending on what you are going for)

Preparation & Cooking Instruction

Usually, I do not follow recipes or measurements. I go with the taste and what I am looking for. For me recipes are there to inspire me to create my own version, and hope it is the same for you, too.

  • Put the fresh ground beef (or finely chopped meat of whatever kind you prefer) into your bowl. Then add the egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, beef bouillon or salt, garlic (I prefer chopped), oregano, and mix together. I prefers to leave the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes so that ingredients and spices merge together.
  • Start making the meatballs in whatever sizes work for you (I made nine and half meatballs out of 1 pound of ground beef).
  • Fry or bake them – I prefer frying them (deep frying like we make them back at home or like a grilled version)
  • Divide them into two batches when frying or grilling
  • Set them aside and start making the sauce alongside the spaghetti

Meat Ball Sauce

  • Onion = 1
  • Garlic = 3 Gloves
  • Black /White Pepper = 1 Tsp
  • Italian Seasoning = 1 tsp
  • Bay Leaves = 2 to 3 Leaves
  • Cayenne Pepper = 1 Tsp
  • Habanero Pepper = 1 (optional)
  • Tomato = 1
  • Tomato Paste = Half (Small can size)
  • Diced Tomatoes = 1 Can
  • Carrot = 1 to 2 Carrots (Finely chopped- adds a little sweet taste)
  • Celery = 1 stalk (Finely chopped)
  • Beef Bouillon or Salt = 1 Tsp (To taste)
  • Parsley = 1 to 2 Tsp (Chopped)
  • Olive Oil = 1/4 Cup
  • Water = 1 cup

Preparation & Cooking Instruction

  • Grind or chop the onions, garlic, habanero peppers, diced tomato, tomato, (depending on the texture you prefer)
  • Use a skillet pan and pour in the olive oil (1/4 cup) let it heat up a little then add the ground or chopped ingredients
  • Add the carrots and celery after 3 to 5 minutes. Let it simmer for a while before adding the tomato paste, and water then finally the bay levels and salt to taste (add either bouillon or salt)
  • Cook for 5 to 8 minutes before adding the meatballs into the sauce. Then cover with the lid and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.

Ready to serve with either spaghetti, bread or rice
